For the Home Workshop, a GPS for Power Tools

"The system, which has a tiny camera, motors and a video screen, takes part of the pain out of woodworking, by using what Mr. Rivers calls “tool GPS.”

You use the new device not by looking down at the wood you’re cutting, he said, but by watching a video screen mounted above the power tool. There, a dot shows the position of the tool bit — just as GPS on a dashboard or a smartphone shows the position of your car on Highway 88."

Brewery History - past, present, future

Hey guys, I came across a few articles from the Over The Rhine Brewery District Community Urban Redevelopment Corporation....super long name I know.

Anyways, it's an interview with Steve Hampton, Greg Hardman, Bryon Martin and Mike Morgan

Steve Hampton - executive director of the Over-the-Rhine BDCURC
Greg Hardiman - owner of Christian Moerlein Brewing Co. (one of the oldest in Cincinnati)
Bryon Martin - owner Cincinnati Beer Company
Mike Morgan - former executive director  of the OTR Foundation

They talk about how bad Cincinnati was affected by the prohibition and what they are planning to do about it.  There's a ton of other articles in there, check them out if you are interested.

Crime + Transportation Mapping

My CRIME analysis and map overlay. Overlay with the transportation map. Data is found here: http://www.cincinnati-oh.gov/police/crime-statistics/ under the STARS Report link (the first link). This data is updated dynamically every time someone clicks on the link. I can provide the data I retrieved to make my analysis. Just ask.
